" Now, don't yew fergit about 'ol Woodstock....I got me some there when I wuz younger...heh heh Whadda time I had!"
I heard my schoolteacher tell me not to put any stock in what Obama says. I can think of some definitions of “stock,” but can’t figure out what she’s talking about.
I know that a stock tank is full of food and water for a group of animals.
I know that your stock is your herd of cows.
I know that stock is what the “S” stands for in NASCAR.
I know that stock is what my Momma uses to make soup.
I know that the stock market is what the big business use to trade money back and forth.
Which one of these is right?
Lester Blister Cowtip, Texas
Dear Lester,
It’s actually closest to that stock market. What your teacher means is that Obama is full of crap and you shouldn’t believe a word he says (and she’s right!). The definition means don’t invest your money (purchase stock) on Obama, because it ain’t gonna pay off for you or anyone else (except them furriners from other country what’s bettin’ on our demise).
Of course, the steer manure that you get from your herd of cattle ain’t far off from what he says either!

Today’s Observation From Throckmorton P. Turdblossom: There was another NCAA “Game of the Century” in college football this Saturday. Why can’t they just be truthful and call it the “game of the week?”
