Plains, GA – (SatirteWorld.com)
Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter (D-GA), and now professional Moonbat-At-Large, says religious leaders, including those in Christianity and Islam, share the blame for mistreatment of women and young girls across the world.
The 88-year-old leftist human rights activist said Friday that male religious leaders perpetuate misguided doctrines of male superiority, especially the Catholic Church forbidding women from becoming priests. The ex-president even said the Church was as bad as some African cultures mutilating the genitals of young girls.
According to Carter, “I witnessed the genital mutilation at least 100 times myself while disguised as a shepard on fact-finding tours set up by the Tide Foundation.”
Carter says the doctrines contribute to a political, social and economic structure where political leaders passively accept domestic violence against women, sexual trafficking, and inequality in the workplace and classroom.
The 39th president delivered his analysis during an international conference on women and religion. He’s hosting representatives from 15 countries at The Carter Center, the human rights organization he launched in 1982 after abruptly leaving the White House due to a failed Presidency and subsequent loss during the 1980 Presidential elections where Ronald Reagan won by a landslide.
Carter even failed to win his own state of Georgia and retired in humiliation to his peanut farm in Plains, Georgia where he dedicated almost 3 years helping his daughter Amy overcome her fear of frogs.
In 1979 an Esquire Magazine article ridiculed the then first-daughter saying she ‘looked like a bullfrog’ in a rather scathing article about children growing up in the White House. After the article was published, Amy Carter barely made public appearances with her family. Instead, she spent hours down at the irrigation pond near the Carter Farm pasture catching dragonflies.
