New York City, NY – (satireworld.com)
On May 22 MSNBC’s Chris Hayes expressed amazement that he has heard no response from the NRA to a smart gun “truce” offered them on May 5 by a New Jersey State senator who is at the forefront of anti-gun activity in her state.
Here’s Hayes exact words:
‘It has now been 17 days since we first aired our special All In America report on the Armatix smart gun and it’s potential life-saving technology, and the NRA’s efforts to kill it. And it has been 17 days since [New Jersey] Democratic state senator Loretta Weinerg (D-37)…was right here at this desk offering a “truce” to the NRA: offering to help repeal the…[NJ smart gun mandate] if [the NRA] would stop opposing smart gun technology. And it’s been 17 days since we have heard nothing from the National Rifle Association.’
The Armatix 1P1 automatic pistol is manufactured in Germany and uses an electronic lock-out circuit to prevent the gun from being accessed and fired by non-owners by use of a battery-powered wrist band sending unit.
On May 13 Breitbart News reported that the Armatix iP1 is a ‘smart gun’ only available only in .22 caliber, which costs $1,800, and which technology companies are already working on ways to jam electronically, so it will not fire.
So, what makes Hayes an idiot and New Jersey State Senator Loretta Weinerg a devious lying slimeball?
What Hayes and Weinerg somehow forget to mention, and like most liberal-leftists usually leave out when discussing this law, is, in New Jersey lawmakers wrote a law several years ago that addressed future ‘smart gun’ technology. Once you understand you’ll fully realize why the NRA wants no part of the silly MSNBC ‘truce challenge.’
Hayes doesn’t mention the deeper incidentals of the liberal anti-gun motivated law while ranting on TV. It seems, once any smart gun (made anywhere) is announced as ‘being in current production’ New Jersey gun laws will automatically change preventing any other type of firearm to be sold or transferred except a ‘smart gun’ in the entire state. This means the Armatix iP1, or any other similar electronic operated gun that will certainly follow, will be the only ‘legal’ handgun recognized by the New Jersey legislature and state law enforcement agencies.
Hayes also didn’t mention that electronic interference, disabling devices, and dead batteries will render the handgun useless at a time you might need it to defend yourself. Of course, criminals will shun this gun and will not buy it through legitimate channels anyway, plus the wristband stupidly disguided as a watch would be a dead give away to any person with mal-intentions.
So, if you prefer spending close to $2,000 dollars (with taxes and permit fees) for a maginally accurate gun that only will shoot a wimpy .22LR caliber round. Or a firearm that can be rendered inoperable by either a bad guy or government robocop from a distance, maybe New Jersey is the place for you with the rest of the anti-gun libtard meatheads who continually twist and bend truth perpetrating a deceit upon citizens that somehow advances their far-leftist goals.
