After Queen Elizabeth Naps During Royal Wedding, Joe Biden Says “I Feel Your Pain”

There are times her majesty needs a few moments of shut eye, especially if Joe Biden is speaking.

Queen Elizabeth II was shown on television sets around the world taking a short nap during the royal wedding of her grandson Prince William to Kate Middleton. While this may be explained away due to advancing age and a really boring ceremony, it was still a faux pas by the British Head of State.
From Washington, D.C., American Vice President Joe Biden expressed sympathy for the Queen. In recent weeks, he was also pictured on television falling asleep (his nap was during a Presidential speech by Barack Obama).
Biden said that “I feel her pain. It isn’t much fun being known for falling asleep when you should be awake and alert. I’ve learned my lesson and I hope that she has too.”
Biden will be sending the Queen a care package of No-Doz and Five Hour Energy to help her “when pressing affairs of State require us to stay awake even through sheer boredom.”
