According to Hitchens, "The best they could write on that terrible site was superficial nonsense akin to trivial snot dripping from an blind owl's ass."

Christopher Hitchens, born in Portsmouth and known to enjoy a drink or three, was finally brought down after a battle with cancer which did what none of his critics could do; Silence Him!

Described by one of his peers as a ‘prolific author and essayist for his critiques on ideologies, literature and politicians,’ Mr. Hitchens was known not only for his liberal positions, but also for having a change of heart on some of today’s hottest topics, notably the Iraq war, Hillary and Bill Clinton, and Muslim fundamentalists.

While Mr. Hitchens was a regular contributor to Vanity Fair since 1992, what is little known is that he began his journalistic career at a rather insular British Satire site under several assumed pen names.

While Hitchens was known for his scathing attacks on bumbling politicians and stuffy Royals, not to mention the Vatican and others of their ilk, all of which propelled him into the top ten on the site’s popularity list, he was unceremoniously banned after he was impudent enough to begin publishing his material in other venues.

A spokesman for the UK Site, who can not be named due to a Super, Super Injunction in order to protect him from universal embarrassment simply said, ” We’re for freedom of speech here, but not every contributor’s speech , and of course we’re for Human Rights, but we’re selective about it, otherwise, you know, the quality of our site could be impugned.”

The spokesman vehemently denied that Mr. Hitchens was banned after he achieved US citizenship in 2007 which put him under increasing attack by certain UK ‘humorists’ who felt threatened by conflicting opinions offered from the Colonies.

Fans of Mr. Hitchens have vowed to file a freedom of information act to retrieve over 1600 scathing, and sometimes humorous essays, from the UK site before they are shredded at the year end
ethnic cleansing party hosted in London by the editorial staff.

Hey, Cap, he was a kind of Brit ‘Wayne Madsen’ when sober and much admired by Tony Blair.
His brother Peter is a Daily Mail ‘writer’, wingnut and successful self publicist; Hitchens RIP was often described as a dreadful lush whose hangover cure was to stay sauced-up.
Maybe that humor website you mention will come clean about his screen name, heheh.
