Battleship Game To Introduce Special Osama Bin Laden Edition

To honor the death of the honorless terrorist, the makers of the children’s board game “Battleship” will introduce a special “Osama Bin Laden Edition.” The game is expected to be at toy stores and other major retailers within the next three weeks.

For many years, children have called out:
“A-10″
“Miss”
“B-5″
“Hit… you sunk my battleship!”

Now, in addition to the five ships to hide and multiple red and white markers representing hits and misses, players will also receive a special, one peg, grey Osama figure. The figure is to be placed on one square and your opponent must attempt to find Osama on the bottom of your ocean (along with your ships), while you are searching for theirs.

As the Osama figure will only cover one peg, it will be much harder to locate. One simple hit, however, will “kill” and “sink” him.

Sales are expected to be brisk as the recent death and burial at sea of bin Laden has renewed interest in the ocean and the game.
