Osama Bin Laden Aquarium Equipment Best Selling Item In Pet Stores

According aquarium expert Ned Bottle, "This time, bubbles coming from Osama from under the water aren't bath tub farts."
Since the death of Osama Bin Laden, aquarium equipment with his image has surged in sales. The air pumps, similar to the little treasure chest bubblers or the diver bubblers that sit on the bottom of the tank, have increased almost 100 fold in sales. Most stores have moved the items, which in many cases on clearance tables, to the most desireable end caps to promote their sales.
Jason Jeffries, who runs the PetsMart in San Juanita, Oklahoma says that “no one seems to want the little divers in the old diving helmets anymore. They all seem to want the little Osama Bin Laden toys sending up bubbles from the ocean. I think we’ve sold out twice in the past few days, and I’ve ordered as many as I can from the warehouse. I guess everyone likes the idea of the terrorist laying on the seabed somewhere.”
“The fish also really like to poop on these, which tends to make the owners of tanks and aquariums giggle. I’ve heard that some schools have had to remove these because the students keep watching the fish instead of paying attention to the teachers.”
Prices have surged on e-bay in areas where the bubblers have sold out. In California, they are now selling for over $75 each. One e-bay spokesman said that “I haven’t seen the price on one item shoot up like this since people wanted to buy pieces of the rope used to hang Saddam Hussein.”
