Brooklyn Hadassah Group Shows Support For Anthony Wiener

The Brooklyn Chapter of Hadassah put on a swim suit fashion show to benefit the Anthony Wiener re-election fund. All $17.96 will go toward campaign posters in yiddish.
Local 417, the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Brooklyn, hosted the first annual Hadassah Swim Suit Fashion Show to benefit union supporter Rep. Anthony Wiener (D-NY) who faces a tough re-election cycle next fall. Event organizer Ruth Lipshitz promises all proceeds will be forwarded to the re-election campaign to, as she put it, “to keep Anthony in Congress where he belongs.”
There’s more truth to Lipshitz’s statement than meets the eye. In 2001, shortly after 9-11, Wiener began an oddessy that some Brooklyn residents felt was a tad bizzarre…First, it was his Speedo swimsuit at Jone’s Beach with the bannana shoved down the front. Second, was the penis pump he used openly in the Synacogue, much to the dismay of Rabbi Goldberg and the congregation. In the eye’s of many in Brooklyn, keeping Wiener away, anywhere would be a blessing.
The Hadassah’s efforts have paid off… and big too! The First Annual Swim Suit Fashion Show netted $17.96 after costs! Organizer Dolly Hornblatz has contacted local printer Morey Feldbaum and will design the Yiddish campaign posters using only 100% re-cycled paper.
Shelly Cornfield says the raffle was a huge hit with the locals. “We raffled off a trip to Palestine and Gaza with a free chauffeured Bradley Fighting Vehicle to ride in. Estelle and Chaim Leskowitz are thrilled to be the grand prize winners.”
When contacted and told about the success results of the Hadassah’s efforts. Rep. Wiener could only say, “Oy vey iz mi!”
