How Much Did Michelle Obama’s Vacation To Africa Cost?

How would you like an all expense paid personal vacation with your family to an exotic place like Africa. We’ll throw in a safari, 191 meals and first class accomodations too.

Judicial Watch has uncovered exactly how much First Lady Michelle Obama spent of taxpayers money to go on a personal vacation to Africa last summer. The President didn’t attend, he was too busy wasting money on bankruot solar panel companies, but the First Lady wasn’t loney at all. She invited on the African trip, her two daughters, her mother, Marian Robinson, but that’s not all…. The passenger manifests confirm the presence of Obama’s daughter’s, Malia and Sasha on the trip. The two girls are listed as “Senior Staff.” The manifests also list Mrs. Obama’s mother, Marian Robinson, and niece and nephew, Leslie and Avery Robinson, as well Mrs. Obama’s makeup and hairstylist (Carl Ray and Johnny Wright).

For the record, not only does first mother-in-law Mrs. Robinson get to take a free vacation to Africa, she gets to live in the White House at taxpayer’s expense and have round-the-clock medical and security services too.

Judicial Watch found the U.S. Air Force provided a C-32A aircraft, which is a modified Boeing 757, and that the cost for flying the First Lady and her family entourage to and from Africa was $424,142 (34.8 flight hours x $12,188 per hour). In addition, it reports another $928.44 was spent on providing 192 meals for the 21 people who made the trip.

Figures for the Fist Lady and her entourage to go on an African safari haven’t been released, but generally a first-class African safari cost around $10,000 per person…We doubt the First Lady settled for less than first class, especially if it’s on the taxpayers dime.
