New York City's Head Nanny....Michael Bloomberg hates fat people!
Hold that pizza! Mayor Michael Bloomberg wants all New Yorkers to be slim and trim…Even if it takes Nazi-era laws to enforce his edicts.
First, it was a no-smoking ban…Then an all out offensive against trans-fat content in foods, now the Mayor of New York wants to ban sugary soft drinks over 20 onces!
The Mayor has even proposed a ban on dress sizes over a size 10, and any trouser waist size over 40 inches in an effort to curb citizens calories intake versus their just having to walk around naked!
Yes, even a ‘Fat Tax’ is coming where each resident who files a NYC tax return must verify their age, height, and weight by a certified ‘city weight station,’ and be taxed for excess poundage. Even airlines are subject to the Mayor’s Nanny State where passengers arriving from other locations must declare excessive pounds on a form similar to a customs declaration. They will be taxed for the excess poundage or be denied access to the City by public transportation.
According to Niles Henderson, NYC’s Transportation Manager, “All those excess pounds add up in fuel costs. Why should trim people absorb the costs of transport Mr & Mrs Lardass around the city?”
