Movie Review: Hollywood Hypocrites Still Sitting in the Left Wing Seats

The Cisco Kid (r) and Poncho from 1950-'s TV is a far cry from director Roberto Rodriguez movies where Mexican-themed movies are violently mind numbing, graphically sexual, and extremely bloody like 'Machete' and 'From Dusk 'Til Dawn.'

The Cisco Kid (r) and Poncho from 1950-‘s TV is a far cry from director Roberto Rodriguez current movies where Mexicans are mind numbingly violent, graphically sexual, not to mention extremely bloody like ‘Machete’ and ‘From Dusk ‘Til Dawn.’ Ask director Quentin Tarrantino if he thinks his ‘Kill Bill’ movies are violent and he’ll say they’re ‘art.’

Pizmo Beach Pennsyltucky – (

President Obama continues to try to ram gun control legislation down the throats of the American people using his Democratic left wing rhetorical BS, bogus firearm background check statistics and crusading liberal activist gun control organizations.

The gun control debate on Capitol Hill has both Democratic and Republicans Senators upset over President Obama’s ignoring the Second Amendment to the US Constitution and his patronizing “father knows best” attitude. Some Hollywood personalities (lip service liberal stars and producers) side with the president. The president has Secret Service protection and Hollywood elites have hired armed guard protection.

Washington DC politics has become very upsetting and as Mrs. Philbert was off playing bridge, I headed down town to the Pizmo Beach Senate Theater where “Olympus has Fallen” (Millennium Films, 2013) was playing. This film is what I call a breakup the furniture movie. It has North Korean terrorists taking over the White House and capturing the president. A Secret Service Agent (ex Special Forces) saves the presidents bacon and the USA.

Pentagon situation room scenes portray the Speaker of the House taking command, can you imagine this actually happening with former Speaker of the House Pelosi. There were helicopters, jet airplanes and soldiers; lots of Glock pistols, submachine guns, assault rifles, large capacity magazines and some very heavy weapons; knives, judo and blood; violence and explosions; and lots of dead bodies.

Well I do enjoy these kinds of movies, but have no desire to return home and then shoot up the neighborhood or my neighbors.

Remember when we were kids in Pizmo Beach and “The Count of Monte Cristo” was playing and how on the way home after the movie, all the kids engaged in sword fights using tree branches. Today these kids would get arrested for the pretend sword fights, let alone pointing a finger at someone like it was a gun!

Anyway I digress! My point is that Hollywood’s hypocritical liberal personality’s rail against guns, gun violence and desire gun control for everyone else but themselves, especially when it affects their bottom line. To add insult to injury there is a far left wing propaganda soliloquy in the film about why these acts of terror are payback for the USA causing famine and people eating tree bark in North Korea.

Well, I’ve told Mrs. Philbert no more breakup the furniture movies for me until Hollywood takes the far left wing ideology out of their scripts! Say dear, are my Mad Magazines still up in the attic?

Roger Ebert may he rest in peace.
