On Tuesday night, White House press secretary Jay Carney again referred questions about the collection of Associated Press phone records to the Department of Justice, stating that President Barack Obama remained a “strong defender of the First Amendment.” The struggling White House Press Secretary revealed the Administration’s official position with a newly installed professional ‘laugh track machine’ that added apptropriate levels of laughter to all audio segments of the press conference

“Thanks for coming tonight folks, let me start by saying the President is a strong defender of the first amendment,”
Carney added by telling the reporters at the White House press conference. “And he’s a firm believer in the need for the press to be unfettered in its ability to conduct investigative reporting and facilitate a free flow of information.
He also of course recognizes the need for the Justice Department to investigate alleged criminal activity without undue influence.”
Add increasing boisterous Laughter…..
When questioned about other serious situations concerning the IRS scandal, the Benghazi embassy attack, and Fast and Furious, Carney said, “the President personally is carefully looking into all and every allegations and promises a thorough investigation and swift justice in any wrong doing.”
Add slowly building laughter that climaxes in a roar from the crowd…
A few questions from FOX News about the Ukraine and the President’s friendship with Russian leader Vladimir Putin lead up to a sincere appraisal by Carney when he replied, “I think it goes without saying that Mr. Putin has the highest respect for President Obama and that means other world leaders feel the same. The President’s recent visit to Japan showed is eagerness to try green tea flavored ice cream which many feel is a true reflection of his leadership and initiative.”
