US Jet Shoots Down Iranian Fighter Over Afghanistan

The F-16 was no match for the Iranian fighter.
NATO forces confirmed today that a US Air Force F-16 shot down an Iranian fighter after it crossed over into Afghanistan air space after ignoring requests that it turn around.
Air Force officials say the pilot shot several warning bursts in front of the Iranian fighter, but it didn’t acknowledge the warning, insteadit appeared to take evasive action. Finally, the US jet slammed a missle into the fighter. The pilot reported that there was no escape parachute spotted and wreakage hasn’t been spotted in the rugged mountains. The pilot’s wingman in another F-16 captured the action on a hand held digtal camera.
Officials say this is the first recorded dogfight of the war in Afhanistan and have issued a formal conplaint with the Iranian government through the Swiss Embassy. The US has no formal diplomatic ties with the Iranian government.
Salvage and recovery teams are enroute and the pilots remains will be properly buried in Spam can in accordance with Islamic Law.
