I just lost another Facebook friend. (satireworld.com)
She started a diatribe defending Obama and saying how much he loved this country and how much he was doing for this country. She said that people who opposed him were just selfish and looking out for themselves (which is the definition of selfish, but I didn’t point out her being redundant). It is also the fault of Republicans that her mixed race son is unsafe and she worries that someone will kill him.
When I explained why I opposed Obama and his policies and actions (using exact examples of what he has done), I got accused of being a racist, bigoted, intolerant, Fox news loving, troglodyte, Republican that eats babies for dinner. Her arguments (and her brothers arguments in her defense) were not arguments at all, just name calling (as their ilk is wont to do when confronted with facts). Yes, they denied facts and said that I had to look it up on the internet and Scopes and that what I said was untrue.
Funny, but it was all 100% true.
Obama did take away the Boy Scout camps on National Forest Service lands that they scouts were renting for token fees (including the same Boy Scout camp that her brother attended many years ago). Obama did sign a treaty with Iran allowing them nukes, and then the country was threatened just three days later by the Irani president. Obama did ram socialized medicine down our throats (and it has failed in England and Canada). Obama did decorate the White House in rainbow colors and then not lower the flags to half mast for the Tennessee dead until he had to knuckle under to political pressure. Obama has gone to the tomb of the unknowns only once on Memorial Day to lay the traditional wreaths (something done by every other President 95% of the time, unless they were out of the country at a summit meeting or on an official visit). Obama has missed all but one National Prayer Breakfast (where the President generally is a featured speaker). Obama also said that this country had 57 states and that he had visited all but a few of them (and that video is still all over Youtube).
Why is it that the immoral, unethical, irreligious, and vulgar want to clothe themselves in a flag of political correctness and superiority?
It is a rhetorical question, I know why… it is partly because when they put their hand out for handouts, they also let go of the Lord’s hand. It’s because when they opened themselves up to all of the sin and corruption and evils of the world, they didn’t leave room for God… and evicted him.
It is all what I call “The Liberty Valance Principle.” Remember the line in that movie? “When the legend becomes truth, print the legend.” The legend of Obama is bigger than the truth of his failures, and so the “morons that be” believe these stories and want their “bread and circuses.”
I should point out that I am not a Republican (and am fiercely and staunchly Independent). I did not vote for Reagan and have proudly never voted for anyone named Bush for any political office. However, I have voted Republican for president in the last two elections and absolutely loathe the current administration.
So, this person is un-friended and blocked.
On a similar note, I bought a new Jeep in May and have put some (okay… a bunch) of politically themed bumper stickers on it. So far, I have:
Honk if I’m paying your bills (the “O” in honk is the Obama “O” symbol)
Of course you don’t see any Obama stickers, I’m driving to work!
Make Chelsea Clinton the ambassador to Libya; What difference does it make?
Obama: Declaring war on success since 2009
Pro-God, Pro-Gun, Pro-Life, Anti-Obama
1 million people attended Obama’s inauguration; only 14 had to miss work
Somebody please put the Constitution on his teleprompter!
I’m straight, conservative, Christian, and I own a gun; is there anything else I can do to piss you off?
(picture of Hillary Clinton) Life’s a bitch; don’t vote for one
This vehicle protected by the Second Amendment
An NRA logo
Flag pictures of the American flag, the New Mexico flag (where I live now), and the Texas flag (my home state). A Confederate flag is on order.
On order right now, I also have bumper stickers that are pro-traditional marriage and anti-abortion. On order is also a Confederate Flag front license plate and a Dallas Cowboy license plate frame.
I’ve already had one irate weenie that had to flip my off and honk at me and scream at me, so I know that I’m paying his bills!
My brother Mark will also poop himself whenever he sees the back of my car, but he is a liberal California nutcase, so his opinion doesn’t count.
